Advanced Dental Technology
At Smiles On Pape, technology supports how care is planned, delivered, and maintained over time. Located near the Danforth, our clinic integrates modern dental tools to improve accuracy, streamline treatment, and support consistent results.
Our approach is simple. Use the right technology where it adds value, keep the process clear, and ensure every step contributes to long-term oral health.
Digital Scanning
Digital scanning replaces traditional dental impressions with a faster, more precise process. A small handheld scanner captures detailed 3D images of your teeth, which are used for crowns, bridges, aligners, implants, and other treatments.
This digital model allows for more accurate planning and a better overall fit when restorations are created. It also provides a clearer view of your treatment, making it easier to understand what’s being planned and why.
3D Printing
In-office 3D printing allows us to produce dental models and appliances directly within the clinic. This includes nightguards, whitening trays, and other custom-fitted devices.
By combining digital scans with in-house production, we’re able to keep the process more controlled and efficient. It also allows for better consistency across different stages of treatment.
CEREC Same-Day Crowns
With digital design and in-office milling, certain crowns can be completed in a single visit.
The tooth is scanned, the restoration is designed digitally, and the final crown is created and placed without the need for a temporary or a second appointment. This approach keeps treatment more streamlined while restoring function and appearance.
Solea Laser Dentistry
Laser technology is used for various soft-tissue and cavity treatments. In some cases, it can reduce the need for traditional tools and allow for a more precise approach.
It is commonly used for treating cavities, reshaping gum tissue, and supporting procedures that benefit from a more controlled technique.
A Practical Approach to Technology
Technology is essential in modern dentistry, but it is always applied thoughtfully and intentionally.
At Smiles On Pape, we incorporate digital tools and systems into our care whenever they enhance accuracy, support treatment planning, and promote consistent results. Our priority is to ensure that every advancement we use contributes to sustained oral health.
